Step by step
How to use Case Converter
Step 1: Paste a phrase, paragraph or identifier into Input. Choose a writing style or identifier convention in Case style.
Step 2: Select Convert case. Uppercase and lowercase keep separators; identifier styles split words and join them using the selected convention.
Step 3: Check names and acronyms in the output. Copy or download the result; title and sentence case are mechanical rules, not editorial review.
Example to try
Enter hello beautiful world and choose camelCase. The output is helloBeautifulWorld. Uppercase instead produces HELLO BEAUTIFUL WORLD.
Choose writing case or identifier case
Uppercase and lowercase preserve punctuation and spacing while changing letters using English locale rules. Sentence case lowercases the input and capitalizes the first letter and letters after sentence-ending punctuation followed by whitespace. Title Case capitalizes word starts, including small words such as and or the. These are mechanical transformations, so review proper names, abbreviations and quotations before publishing the result.
Turn phrases into identifiers
camelCase begins with a lowercase word; PascalCase capitalizes every word. snake_case and kebab-case join lowercase words with an underscore or hyphen. Identifier modes split punctuation and common camel-case boundaries, then join the detected words. For example, hello beautiful world becomes helloBeautifulWorld in camelCase. Numbers remain part of the detected words; the tool does not check whether the result is a legal identifier in a particular programming language.

Changing case can expand some Unicode characters into multiple letters. Sentence case is a heuristic rather than a grammar parser; periods in abbreviations and initials can affect capitalization. Identifier modes do not translate text or remove accents. Keep a copy of the original whenever letter case carries meaning, such as in passwords, source code, case-sensitive file names or product identifiers.
Inputs and results are held only in this page's memory. Text inputs accept up to 100,000 character units each. Oversized pastes are rejected while preserving the previous input. Generated output is limited to 5,000,000 character units. No sign-up is needed. Copy and download actions are explicit; the tool does not upload your drafts or save them for a later visit.
